The Whale's Tail — A Weekend Garden Bar
The Whale's Tail is a free, open-air destination for live music, food and drinks, community programming and relaxing afternoons in Golden Gate Park — named for the famous Street Whale art installation along Illuminate's Golden Mile. Presented by NPU Live and Illuminate, in partnership with the San Francisco Recreation and Park Department.

Saturdays & Sundays, plus select holidays — 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM
A rotating lineup of musical acts throughout the season, plus weekly free yoga in the park.
Cold and hot drinks — plenty of non-alcoholic options — plus bites from local favorite food trucks.
Free admission & entertainment for all ages. Dog and bike-friendly — bring your furry friend!
